I have been in the medical field for over 25 years and worked as a Registered Nurse before finding the Long Term Care Insurance Industry. I graduated with my BSN from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas in 1992. During my nursing career, I worked in home health and saw so many people in need of Long Term Care Insurance before I knew it even existed. During my nursing career, I saw people going thru their money to pay for the care they needed. I then decided to get my Health and Life Insurance License in 2016. I feel like I found my calling and where my heart is.
I had a personal experience in 2019 that helped me understand the great need for Long Term care Insurance. I had two bones fused on my foot and was non-weight bearing for 6 weeks and had to use a knee scooter, then to a walking boot, then physical therapy. It was a very long recovery and my poor husband was trying to work and take care of me at the same time. If only I had Long Term Care Insurance at the time. I then realized the importance of all of us needing Long Term Care. I am so glad I found GoldenCare since they have so many plans to choose from to fit each individual needs.
I live in Colorado with my husband and enjoy the mountains and taking our dogs hiking. It’s amazing each weekend we can go somewhere different and enjoy another beautiful view.
